Netafim is Inducted into The International Green Industry Hall of Fame

October 17, 2017

Netafim, the global leader in smart irrigation solutions, announced today that it has been officially inducted into the International Green Industry Hall of Fame (IGIHOF) at a recent ceremony held in Clovis, CA.

At the intersection of food security, water and energy, Netafim has focused on developing innovative drip irrigation solutions that enable farmers to grow more crops with less resources and less impact on the environment through the practice of sustainable productivity. Established more than 50 years ago, sustainability has remained a leading component of Netafim’s core mission, and its commitment to driving mass adoption of drip irrigation as a global solution to scarcity of food, water and land.

“Sustainability is not only Netafim's commitment but also our business," said Naty Barak, Netafim’s Chief Sustainability Officer during his remarks at the induction ceremony. "On behalf of all of those that have made Netafim the global leader in drip irrigation, I am both honored and humbled to receive this recognition by the International Green Industry Hall of Fame. The peer recognition only serves as further testament to the strength and commitment Netafim has towards a sustainable future.”

Founded in 2008, the International Green Industry Hall of Fame recognizes those pioneers, leaders, innovators, creators of excellence and visionaries who have made significant contributions to the green industry and towards an environmentally sustainable future.

“I’m proud to watch our remarkable achievements, helping farmers across the world grow more with less, while directly contributing to a world that is more water- and food-secure,” added Barak.
