Using thin wall drip line or drip tape for irrigation is reliable, easy and convenient. With Netafim Recoil, disposing of used irrigation drip line is an environmentally responsible way that is just as easy, reliable and convenient. At Netafim we adopt a triple-bottom line approach to our Corporate Social Responsibility. This is centralized around three core principles: People, Planet and Productivity.
Our Recoil program addresses the supply chain sustainability needs of today’s growers. It is the most comprehensive drip line recycling service available on the market today and Netafim is the only drip irrigation manufacturer committed to offering a recycling program. Making it easier than ever to dispose of used drip line at the end of the season and helping Australian agriculture to GROW MORE WITH LESS™.
While Netafim smart irrigation systems have far superior environmental credentials than other methods, we are aware that the only way to be truly sustainable to is to reduce the amount of plastics left in-field. That’s why, since 2006, Netafim has offered an end-of-life recycling program. Not only do we use recycled materials in our manufactured products, we are also removing plastic from the environment and reusing our own field-waste in new low-density polyethylene products. Something which no other irrigation manufacturer offers. We call it Recoil and we are committed to continually developing our own sustainable circular economy for the good of our customers and the environment.
The Recoil program is a simple 4-Step process to remove unwanted/used drip line from the field. While there are slight variations based on your location we have streamlined the process to make it easy, inexpensive and efficient for the good of our environment.
Netafim is committed to offering a recycling service for the good of our growers and our environment, however there are significant costs involved in retrieving and recycling field-waste material. While Netafim covers the cost of the machinery and recycling process, there is a small freight component that needs to be paid by the grower. Prices vary by region and are charged at cost, based on a per kilogram basis. For a list of prices please contact us via email at firstname.lastname@example.org
