A Day in The Life

A Day in the Life at Netafim:

  • Responsible for all sustainability-related topics across the company and serves as the main advocate and driver of the sustainability strategy.
  • Manage a sustainability team in the corporate and work closely with Netafim and Orbia's units around the world to drive higher sustainability in our markets, operations, and workplace.  
  • Craft Netafim's sustainability strategy with his/her team, and carry out the strategy within the company, with different stakeholders in the buisness units and in corporate including R&D, Operstion, Legal, HR etc.

Strategy will focus on promoting zero waste in farmland, Recycling initiatives, life cycle assessments, responsible purchasing, educational and social community plans in different domains etc.

  • Lead efforts to demonstrate the environmental and social benefits of Netafim's sustainable irrigation solutions and services, to different commercial and noncommercial stakeholders.
  • Represent the company in international organizations related to sustainability policy and world standards.

What you'll need


  • 5+ years combined experience in external affairs, corporate social responsibility, sustainability, and other related areas.
  • Education in engineering, science, biology, chemistry or environmental studies.
  • Familiar with environment frameworks such as the UN SDGs, GRI, SASB, TCFD, LCA (life cycle assessment, carbon footprint, water footprint, water risk, supply chain assessment)
  • Has a deep understanding of environmental matters, as well as of community relations and social responsibility trends in the industry. 
  • Strong business acumen and passionate about Netafim solutions and services and its growth potential.
  • High presentation skills, ability to represent the company in various forums and conferences on a variety of topics.
  • Marketing / commercial background and education.

Experience working for or with nonprofit organization- an advantage.
