The HSE Global officer assists in the development and implementation of the health and safety and environmental programs of the company on a global level as well as assisting and coordinating the implementation of the HSE strategy and initiatives and compliance with HSE regulations and standards at the sites worldwide.

A Day in The Life

  • Supporting the Head of Global HSE in executing the company's HSE strategy, goals, objectives, and programs.
  • Lead HSE activities per region and per area of expertise
  • Follow up on execution of HSE tasks, emergency drills, internal audits, training plans, follow up on corrective actions from audits. Support new site set up, new site HSE Officer, training, support Head of Global HSE in preparing management reviews, meetings, and presentations. Prepare and coordinate HSE technical training.
  • Keep up with communication with all the Site HSE Officers.
  • Implements and communicates all environmental health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Regional and global HSE Meetings -coordinate the meetings, prepare meeting minutes, and follow up on action items.
  • Perform HSE audits and follow up on audits corrective actions.
  • Review hazard identification and risk assessment processes.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of HSE incidents and prepare reports

What you'll need

  • Direct experience in in the field of Environment Health and Safety.
  • Ability to drive results and implements changes based on an understanding of the business environment
  • Effective working independently and with a team.
  • Good understand of Environment, Health and Safety management systems, proven experience in the application of HSE management systems (an advantage)
  • Academic background in environmental sciences or Safety engineering.
  • English – High level (as native equivalent).
  • Spanish (an advantage).
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • High proficiency with Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint and project management tools.
  • Experiences work in Enablon and ENHESA platform, (advantage).
