A Day in the Life

  • Integration of various functions in global planning, including production, inventory, procurement and finance.
  • Providing support solutions to problems and constraints while exploring scenarios and alternatives for optimization.
  • Building basic knowledge and process modeling for analyzing supply options according to product groups.
  • Defining work plans and optimizing goals to monitor and implement subsidiaries according to the market's objectives.
  • Support the ongoing work of subsidiaries, including process implementation and tools to accompany these subsidiaries.
  • A key figure in the S&OP process, responsible for supporting regional SUPPLY meetings.
  • Support the S&OP processes of the supplier according to production, inventory, and/or procurement goals.
  • Setting up a pre-consensus purchasing plan including priorities and offering alternatives.
  • Support the promotion of operational excellence among procurement, engineering, and manufacturing departments, with suggestions for improving processes that support business needs.
  • Interface with various departments in the organization and familiarity with technical and business concepts.
  • Point of contact to provide information on business planning scenarios. Finding and creating business alternatives for optimal results.

What You'll Need

  • B.Sc degree in Industrial Engineering and Management (MA – an advantage).
  • 3+ years of experience in planning departments, including an integrated supply chain.
  • Practical knowledge and experience in statistics, data analysis, and problem solving.
  • Experience in building forecasts with suppliers and subcontractors - setting allocations and priorities.
  • Understanding the SUPPLY field (complete management, RCCP production capacity planning, procurement planning, and more).
  • Practical experience in various methods and techniques for managing information bases.
  • Knowledge and experience in EXCEL – advanced.
  • Experience in advanced design systems, such as S&OP, SAP, and ERP - an advantage.
