A Day in the Life

  • Assist the OSIM to manage the detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project scope.
  • Oversee the availability of resources (equipment & personnel) required to complete the project according to the schedule.
  • Review the project schedule with senior management and all other staff that will be affected by the project activities; revise the schedule as required and maintain daily/ weekly discussions and reports to the project management.
  • Manage all project office / control room processes.
  • Provide OSIM and PMO with forecasting project requirements and risks.
  • Establish, monitor and improve the control plan to validate achievement of project – scope, time, budget and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee and manage the implementation and mitigation plan to project risks
  • Responsible to record and develop forms to document the project activities (actual working days, daily progress, available staff and machinery etc')
  • Set up files to ensure that all project information is appropriately documented and secured
  • Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project
  • Responsible for all COA (Certificate of Acceptance) processes. (logistics and handover)
  • Review the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the project standards
  • Participate and oversee the project change control board (CCB)
  • Monitor and control the compliance to local: safety, health & environment rules and regulations
  • Monitor all budgeted project expenditures

  • Language – fluent English- read & write. (French – advantage)
  • Technical skills- able to understand drawings and construction processes
  • University degree in : Engineering / Economics / Management
  • 3-4 years of relevant experience in large scale infrastructure / agriculture projects
