Netafim South Africa recently expanded its footprint in the northern regions of the country when it expanded its Nelspruit office with a new office and warehouse. This move was celebrated with a festive get together for dealers and farmers in the region. This office looks after Mpumalanga, Gauteng, Limpopo, North West, Swaziland and the Southern parts of Mozambique.

The larger office and warehouse space strengthen Netafim South Africa’s abilities in the region and makes it possible to improve the customer experience of clients in this region and add value to the service offered. The old offices covered 150m2 and the new offices now cover 1 250m2.

"We must continuously adapt and improve to maintain our leading position in the industry. The new office is an important part of adapting and improving," said Michael Esmeraldo, Regional Sales Manager. This move was welcomed by clients, who expressed their hope that this will better the stock situation in the region.

Etienne Erasmus, MD of Netafim South Africa, commented that this move forms part of a strategic decision to centralise the staff working in these provinces. “We decided to strengthen the team we have by bringing them together and giving them a stronger base to work from as a unit.”
